Hello

Welcome to Solacium Therapy, where we aim to foster genuine connection and growth. I’m a dedicated psychologist with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a master’s in Clinical Psychology from two British universities. My approach is strongly influenced by the Person-Centred model, which is rooted in Carl Rogers’ philosophy that each individual’s unique experience should be at the center of therapy. I strive to create a supportive atmosphere that encourages true self-discovery and healing by emphasising empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity.

My Story

From the outset of my career, I have sought to expand my understanding of mental health by working in diverse and challenging environments. In London, I supported individuals facing complex mental health conditions—including depression, schizophrenia, and other severe challenges—within a 24-hour supervised housing project. My role involved delivering psychoeducation, compassionate guidance, and practical support to help residents transition successfully back into society, making a significant impact on their lives.

My global experience extends to South Africa, where I led group sessions under the guidance of a substance abuse counsellor, working with people experiencing homelessness, addiction, depression, and violent behaviours—many of them ex-convicts seeking a new start. I have also volunteered in Sri Lanka and Indonesia, assisting individuals in psychiatric wards, supporting those with learning difficulties (such as autism and Down syndrome), and caring for children with emotional and developmental needs.

Alongside these hands-on experiences, my professional development has increasingly focused on the Person-Centred approach. I completed a course at Oxford University that honed my Person-Centred therapy skills and additional training in group coaching. I am enrolled in a professional development program at ACP-France, recognised by the European Association of Psychotherapy (EAP), to deepen my expertise further. Carl Rogers’ principle guides my work with the philosophy that genuine empathy and nonjudgmental support enable clients to lead their healing journey.

This focus on the client’s inner world underpins all I do at Solacium Therapy. Through individual sessions, group work, or psychoeducation, I strive to create a safe, nurturing space where you feel seen, heard, and respected. By combining wide-ranging international experiences, a solid academic foundation in clinical psychology, and a steadfast commitment to Person-Centred principles, I aim to help clients access their inherent strengths and move toward lasting well-being.
